Documentaries - in most documentaries we see that they have used multiple camera to set each different location/scene within the documentary, for example in documentaries they use a number of arial shots which show a wide range of landscapes if it were an animal documentary. for other types of documentaries we would see close ups. This is because the document would be or is about a person and the use of these camera shots would help the viewers see the emotions and actions of the person. The types of camera shots which are used in any type of documentary would be long shots, mid shots, close ups, establishing shots, birds eye view. This is all to help the audience see what is happening in the documentary by being able to see everything.

Tv Dramas - in many tv dramas we tend to see action, and we see that through multiple camera shots/angles/movements. for example in "game of thrones" there are a number of quick cuts and this boosts the viewers attention and stops them from getting bored of a certain scene. low angles and high angles also help us establish who is important and who is not, who is powerful and who is weak, who will die and who will not. There are also camera movements which help us stay with a certain character in a action scene, this help build the tension as the camera being constantly looking at him could mean that something might happen and it would help get the reaction out of the audience better.

Youtube vlogs - almost in every youtube vlog we watch there is always that one camera shot we see, close up, this helps with the audience in a way being closer to the vlogger as the camera is always very close to him and that helps with the viewers being able to know what he is doing the moment he does it. In most vlogs there are only single camera techniques because the vlog is just one camera the whole time.

Sitcoms (family guy) - in sitcoms there are multiple camera techniques as it creates dramatic scenes and usually there are a lot of things going on so the camera would switch to another for another scene. the multi cameras are needed for the different types of shots which are in many sitcoms to create an entertaining effect for the viewers because theres always something new to see rather than having the same camera looking at the same person.

In music videos there are both single and or multiple camera techniques. Usually when there are single cameras used it is when it films the one person who is singing. Multiple camera shots are probably only used to add an effect to the scene in the music videos. when there are more than 1 artists in a scene it would still be a single camera techniques as there is no need for a multiple which is only used to add an effect for the scene

In most adverts there are multiple camera techniques and this is primarily used to show off the product. there could be a bunch of cameras positioned around the product and the scene would examine the product form each camera in a circular view.

In most sporting events there are multiple cameras but they are all filming the same thing but in different angles so the people watching on tv are able to see all of the events taking place as the cameras switch to another one which is able to see the event.
Single Camera Techniques
For this opening scene of a film called 'baby driver' we start of with a car driving parking and we see each of the characters inside the car from a close up camera shot, this has been done so the audience can see who's in the car and what their facial expressions are. They then proceed to rob a bank and this section of the scene is covered with many shots we have many types of camera shots which focus primarily on the driver, his surroundings and what he sees. For example we see long range mid range and close ups with tracking camera techniques as well as a point of view shot. the producer has done this because he wants the audience to see everything . Music has been used at the start of the clip and almost throughout the whole clip, this is done because music would add entertainment and as this being the opening scene this would change the opinions of the audience about the film as they see that the film is immediately in an action scene. this is why there have been multiple camera techniques for the views of the audience and which help show the scenery. The point of view shot allows the audience to be in the drivers eyes and see what he sees. After they rob the bank they run back to the car and are caught in a high speed car chase, this scene is very entertaining as there are many cinematic shots of the car as it drives away from the cops. We also see some close ups of the people inside which help us see their emotions during the car chase. Action music has been added in to add more life into the scene, it creates more of a dramatic scene as well as interesting. There are a lot of cuts during this clip and this has been done to reduce the levels of boredom from the audience as they watch the scene and the movie as a whole.
For this music video we start of with seeing a man in hospital because he has a music player in his stomach and its constantly playing the same song over and over again and this causes him a lot of real life distractions because when he does any daily life activities the music player makes people around him start dancing and this annoys him. The music video is primarily mid/long range as we only see people dancing around him as he does shopping etc. the dancing aspect makes the video entertaining to watch because you see many different people dancing to the music out of nowhere. The producer has added in all these camera techniques which help the audience see how his life is with the music player. There are elements of close ups and this is used to convey the person's emotions. Hand held camera shots were used to create a more realistic visual approach to the main character as it creates a more personal view almost as if you are right next to him. And the end of the music video the main character gets surgery to remove the music player and as the doctors start to proceed with the procedure they hear the music and start dancing whilst they carry on the procedure , they manage to get the music player out and the main character presses the stop button on it which stops the music and everyone in the room stops dancing and look clueless for a moment and they then carry on with their tasks. Most of the scenes in the music video are entertaining and this helps the audience if they agree to watch the video if they decide to watch it rather than just listen to it. The song as a whole contained many single camera techniques and they all created a different story within the video by shooting a whole new scene with another person dancing in another location at another time.
This is a clip from a tv show 'vikings' and in this clip we see a group of people training with bows and swords. In this clip there are a number of camera angles which section out each little scene. For example we see a behind the shoulder shot which helps the audience see what the character sees. The producer uses blur to shows what's more important at the time of the current scene, as well as this we see multiple camera movements. For instance we see a dolly at the start of the clip, the camera moves left with the characters. we also see a zoom in techniques from behind a tree in this clip and the angles these shots were taken a much different from any regular shot this creates difference for the scene as well as the tv show. We see a number of close ups and this is important for the audience to see more clearly at what the character is doing and his facial expression at the time.In this scene there are a lot of cuts and this is good as it creates entertainment for the audience. Throughout the clip we hear a drumming sound in the soundtrack which intensifies the scene. In the clip we could clearly see that two of the characters do not see eye to eye with each other and the audience sees this due the the camera cutting between the two most of the time as they try to show off in front of each other and the close ups help express how the two feel. We see an intense scene right at the end where one of the characters throws an axe just above the others head and he starts bleeding because of it this was quite a powerful scene as we really see the feud between the characters and when we see one the characters angry face through a close up.The producer has been doing this to build up the tension between these characters as well as many other aspects in the tv show and this entertains the audience as they watch.
