Advertising By Sector
1- what are the advantages in advertising in different sectors?
In most cases we see many advertisements in many forms, print, web based, and broadcasts. The companies do this in the increase the number of viewers they get on a daily/monthly basis.
In most cases we see many advertisements in many forms, print, web based, and broadcasts. The companies do this in the increase the number of viewers they get on a daily/monthly basis.
Having adverts in multiple areas such as the media as well as print magazines helps the companies with sales much more and over time they would still be benefiting from it as people would still be seeing those ads on almost every media platform. Some of the images above show the statistics of how much people access which platform and how many prefer a certain platform.
2- What are the disadvantages of advertising in the following sectors?
Most people in the world have access to the internet and this enables them to preview ads which have been added into the online world, but for those who do not have access to the internet (mostly elderly people) cannot see the ads that have been added onto it and could only see them through the newspapers. Speaking of newspapers , not many people nowadays go out of there way to purchase newspapers and this would impact the sales of the advertisements in that area. The different sectors each have different groups of contributing viewers.

3- what are some of the challenges that face advertisers when distributing on different platforms ?
Some of the problems might be that advertising might be harder to make appealing to the public when it comes to older technologies like broadcasts but when it comes to todays type of internet media it would be very easy as there are a lot of ways to create advertisements appealing through it. Older technologies might be less appealing as they might be lacking the ability to see the advert visually and this might discourage the listeners. on the other hand it would be easier to create advertisements on the media but might be be somewhat challenging as not everyone might consider the advert interesting and the advertisers might need to find a way to get as much eyes as they can with the advert however they can.

4- What does the increase in digital consumption mean for traditional media forms such as print media? Find some examples of statistics/data/studies that support your reasoning.
As the new technology becomes more popular and more easier to use for everyone, the older traditional media forms like newspapers will become less used as more and more of the public are using the much newer and easier way to catch up on news.
As the new technology becomes more popular and more easier to use for everyone, the older traditional media forms like newspapers will become less used as more and more of the public are using the much newer and easier way to catch up on news.
As you can see over the years as the technology advances the older way of media is slowly decreasing in the number of users as the other increases.

BROADCAST ADVERT ANALYSIS
in many areas of advertising broadcast adverts wether that being tv, phone or any other online area we would tend the advert to play a quarter of halfway between a channel in most tv's. In phones like on youtube we might see the adverts tending to pop up near the beginning of the video and near the end as those areas would have the highest activity of viewers watching. Adverts tend to be either around 10 seconds long, 30 seconds long or 30+ seconds, each type of broadcast duration has its own way of showing the audience its intention. Short adverts would tend to be snappy and quickly show what they need to show, the longer ones would have more of a preview going into their desired product which might grab the audiences attention.

FASHION ADVERTISING
There are many types of fashion adverts, whether that being clothes or perfume,, and these styles of fashion would be included in the female section, men or kids. The adverts for clothing would have many ways to show their aims towards which type of audience they have, either male or female...
In female fashion adverts we would tend to see darkish, lightish colours including pink which is stereotypical for girls. We see plain and stylish fonts.as we see in the 'miss Dior' advert.
demographics - psychographics - geographic -
age - 14- 30 attitude - any international
gender - female activities - actresses/anyone

The setting to these female fashion adverts might take place in a house or at a beach or somewhere were there is sun to really show the actress. Costumes might be skirts, bathing suits, casual outfits like jackets. The nvc's in most female adverts would be them either smiling towards the camera or no expressions at all. same can be said for the male fashion adverts. Lighting would be artificial as most of the adverts are indoors. In these adverts we would see a number of stereotypes as the colour in the video/picture or what the actress is wearing or what is happening during the shoot, in most cases we would see a setting where the women would be seen as attractive just because see puts on the perfume and the same can be said for the male version or these fashion adverts which is quite common. camera techniques would include mainly mid shots and close ups, some camera movements might be added like tracking, the camera following the actress.
In male adverts we would tend to see more light or dark colours which tend to help make the advert more serious and into their aimed gender.

The fonts we would tend to see are more visible and dark which makes it more age appropriate for men. The settings we might see are a beach or at a shot with a plain white background, what the most common narrative for mens fashion adverts is where the main actor puts of the perfume and is available to get any women due to him having this product on him which might seem to have a sense of ideology behind it. in most fashion adverts we would tend to see mid shots to long shots as well as close ups too show the actor/actress as much as possible . The nvc's would be mainly no expressions as most of the mens fashion adverts tend to be serious and the actors must look serious in it.

LEARNING AIM B ASSESSMENT
Proposal of advertisement production -
This business will be called NEO and we are a clothing brand who provide all kinds of clothing from t shirts to accessories and perfume, we even have a website called NEO/.co.uk which is one of our main headquarters when it comes to stock and any customer complaints on our products. Our distribution process has a big range, we have our own shop as well as having some of our products sold at different stores and on top of that we sell products through our online website. Our main target audience is 16-30 males as most of our clothing is most appealing to that gender.
We do not condone any other businesses trying to replicate our brand by selling the exact same t shirt but with small changes, our company has passed any legal actions and we are able to set up business and have contract deals with an other without any problems.
Here we have some samples of what our clothing will or could look like when this company is good to go.

We also include the foundation of our clothing advertisements like where our company name will be, how the adverts will look like in the eyes of the public and the colour used within, we will try to make these fashion adverts as appealing to our audience as much as we can by customizing the with our very own opinions and or the opinions of the public. And we will be trying to place these adverts in every place we can to maximise our audience and profit.
1,2) - I have added the basic templates within my drawn drafts on the different types of clothing this company could be selling and by using multiple locations to take photographs as well as a default white cover in my drawn, this will have many eyes turned towards it as i have adverts posters which have many backgrounds, and the simple suggestions i have put in my drawn it will help when the real thing is made.
The digital drafts i have chosen they are somewhat of the more advanced appearances of my advert posters as they contain real people and precise details.
The digital drafts i have chosen they are somewhat of the more advanced appearances of my advert posters as they contain real people and precise details.
3) - The locations i have used are either a brick wall which creates a simple yet detailed background, a museum where the actor/actress could be posing underneath a statue of a dinosaur which stands out, or a simple street which makes it casual. A brick wall background could symbolise an urban environment as well as making the bill board seem casual, the different types of locations could help create the outfit the model is wearing for example if the model is wearing something smart then the background could be all white to help the outfit stand out or a museum to symbolise the idea of "smart.
4,5) - Some of the software i have decided to use will either be photoshop of powerpoint as i would be able to get the most use in terms of customisation options.
6,7) - Some of the challenges we might face as we enter the post production stage is the amount of customers we would be getting, at the start of our business it will be a slow process increasing the number of customers during our first couple months and to look in the future we would be facing other competitions which also sell clothes. Near the end of or post production stage we would see our business charts and determine whether or not our adverts were successful by seeing if our daily/weekly/monthly views and or purchases have gone up.
PART 2
1-4) - We would try our best to make this clothing company stand out from the rest by having weird locations, weird clothes, weird poses try and create a happy environment instead of using common clothes, backgrounds and poses.
we have decided to use vertical billboard as it helps minimize what our audience needs to see, everything will be perfectly fit in as well as our model plain and simple size but if we were to change we might add in multiple models in our horizontal billboard and more colour and bigger slogans to create a billboard which stands out.
In terms of where we could install our billboards we have decided to put them up in most of the most busiest places in the world, whether that being on the buses, in our mobile phones, or even in time square We would to the utmost to create a successful business.
